Still Hollow Century Farm was founded in 1857 and is a living historical & agricultural family farm going back five generations and is listed on The National Register of Historic Places. The farm is steeped in tradition shadowed by the Appalachian Mountains and surrounded by towering trees and grassy meadows. The Georgian-style home named The Allen House has been restored including eight fireplaces and plantation shutters.
At the heart of the farm is the enclosed granary and adjoining pavilion that overlooks the Nolichucky River. The granary features open roof beams and rough-hewn wide plank walls and floors. The perfect spot for our seasonal farm market.
Modern farming continues to be a very important part of our family’s life and the lives of the people we serve with our crops. We appreciate our past on the farm while discovering new agricultural endeavors. This is why we say on the farm enjoy yesterday, today. Click here to read more about our seasonal farm market.
